Clear separation

Advertising and sponsored placements should be visually distinguishable from editorial food and place data. Payment does not determine a venue's factual description, geographic relationships or verification status.

Affiliate links

Some travel, food-tour, reservation or experience links may generate a commission. Where applicable, affiliate relationships should be disclosed near the relevant commercial link or module.

Sponsored listings

Sponsored venue placements must be labelled. Sponsorship may affect placement in designated advertising areas, but it does not create an editorial endorsement or bypass the data-quality and source checks used for permanent venue profiles.

Personalisation and consent

Advertising technologies that require consent in a visitor's jurisdiction should remain disabled until the appropriate consent choice has been collected.
